Authentic Balinese Cooking Class Experience

Balinese Cooking Class is presented for those people with keen interests in authentic Balinese food and culture. Learn to cook well-known local dishes in a relaxed and friendly environment. This small classes (only 4-12 people) are held in a traditional open kitchen, and led by certified Balinese cooks, making for a highly personalized and rewarding experience.

Each class starts with a trip to a local market to buy fresh ingredients. You’ll get a feel of real Balinese culture as you experience its rich colors of tradition and the unique flavors and smells. Participant then prepare a complete 5-course set lunch which will be served after the class. This exciting program is the ideal way to enjoy an authentic cultural and culinary experience. It is also perfect for the serious home cook who wants to learn how to cook authentic Balinese food for their next dinner party, for spouses accompanying husband or wife on a business trip, or the adventurous traveler wanting to explore more than just enjoying the beautiful island.

  • Pick up and drop off available at hotels in Ubud, Denpasar, Canggu, Kerobokan, Seminyak, Legian, Kuta, Tuban, Jimbaran, Sanur, Tanjung Benoa, and Nusa Dua

  • Drop off will be at original pickup point

  • Pick up time start from 7.00 AM

Itinerary :

  • 07.00 AM - Hotel pick up

  • 08.00 AM - Arrive at cooking class place

  • 08.00 AM - Visit traditional market ( Pasar rakyat Blahkiuh ), about 30 minutes to introduce ingredients for cooking. After visiting the market, will be short trekking from market walking through the rice field and ending at Pura Dalem Banjar Ulapan Blahkiuh. then back to cooking class place

  • 09.30 AM - Coffee break with balinese cake

  • 10.00 AM - Begin creating a full-five course meal

  • 12.00 PM - Enjoy dishes together for lunch ( is served when all participants have finished and prepared their food )

  • 13.00 PM - Back to hotel
